well, not that its not funny, but the original sin wasn't created along with the man/woman, it's about eve eating from the fruit of knowledge, her own actions actually.
fruit of knowledge. lets you know how to sin but being able to sin. why create humans at all? best question of all...WHERE did the FRUIT OF KNOWLEDGE come from? WAS that God's plan or doing or something even more. Why create a Tree of Knowledge and mix it with Free Will. God can't be that dumb. Then killing over 20 million(estimated) people for sinning. Sounds like a mess-up crazy plan if you ask me. BUT "God works in mysterious ways" Ta dah
Sadly, the ways of God seem like foolishness to the perishing. I'll try to explain but honestly, one has to WANT to learn to learn anything. Look, in Genesis it says, "Let us make man in our image." Thats the point. He didn't want robots or those who had no choice. He wants people who freely choose to love. You can't do that without offering a true choice for others to "leave" if they wish. The act of the cross is a design to win the hearts of ones by showing how much He loves us without affecting our free will. If we respond in love great. If not, thats up to us.
relax, it was more like an explanation. I'm not saying its true, but thats not as illogical in the bible (if you were to look for logical mistakes) as the initial joke sais, thats all. :)
Yes he did. But he made us anyway and chose to display his selfless love for us on the cross, even knowing some of you would refuse it. See thats love.
DamonKing, I doubt you WANT to know the answer. BUT, the fact is if you are making people "like God" they have to have true freedom to choose to do what they want. They can choose to love God and obey, or reject him. Thats free will. How do you have true free will without a choice? Here ya go Damon... choose your icecream flavor.... Oh, sorry theres only vanilla... did you have a REAL choice... No. The tree was a REAL choice option.
Good one.
ReplyDeletehahaha amazing interpretation... just the way it is...

DeleteWhen exactly did that happen and why the hell am _I_ responsible for what happened in a fairy tale?

ReplyDeleteChristianity is just one womans lie about an affair that went terribly wrong
ReplyDeletewhat he said^
ReplyDeleteit all looks rather pointless when u put it like that
Also, if God is omnipotent and omniscient, as the Bible says that he is, then he would have known that Eve would eat the fruit.

DeleteLMAO! It probably makes some kind of warped sense to a Christian, but not to a normal person!
ReplyDeleteThe entire story depends upon the reader being completely void of common sense.
ReplyDeleteLooking for logic in the bible is like looking for fire underwater.
ReplyDeletePretty simple. Ever see volcanic flues underwater?

ok
Why would God even put a tree there if he didn't want them eating from it? #facepalm
